Kyvon Edwin is a native Saint Lucian award winning actor, writer and filmmaker currently based in New York.  He is an alumnus of the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute as an Eleanora Duse Scholar. A recognized talent, his work has been featured at American Black Film Festival, Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival, Hip Hop Film Festival, Bronzelens Film Festival and the Festival de Cannes to name a few. Recent film credits include: 27 Candles, Winston, The Last Christmas Party, The Island and Black Magic For White Boys.

Moving behind the camera, Kyvon created Roots Productions, a multi-media production company with a focus on amplifying stories and voices from the West-Indian diaspora. The company’s debut project and Directorial debut for Kyvon, Lettre La premiered at Chelsea FIlm Festival and is currently continuing its festival run to critical acclaim globally
